___
An exploration of the aesthetics of the everyday through the lens of the beauty industry. Shades applied daily by millions are examined as autonomous artistic elements. By appropriating the color codes of mass-market cosmetics, I create an independent visual structure—where the familiar becomes an object of contemplation.
Color markers of beauty products:
- Lipstick pigments (pink, coral, nude). Only factory shades of mass-market cosmetics are used.
- Foundation range (beige, ivory, sand)
- Blush accents (peach, dusty rose)
- Powder and lotion textures (translucent layers)
- Contrasting mascara spots
The work is a systematization of the cosmetic palette (lip, foundation, and accent shades) in the format of clean abstraction. Colors retain their original intensity but are translated into a plane of pure visual investigation. A deconstruction of the everyday beauty ritual through the isolation of colors from their functional context, reduced to pure pigment fields.
